After successfully designing Sullivan, the seahorse, I was inspired to embark on the creation of Jarvis, a captivating jellyfish. The conception of Jarvis materialized swiftly on my computer, fueled by months of contemplation. While bringing this ethereal creature to life, sourcing the perfect pearlescent threads posed a delightful challenge.
Jarvis will be woven with Jessica, Sprats Heads, Rhodes, and Crescent stitches, stitched with a palette of pearlescent threads in white, green, blue, lavender, and pink hues. Capturing the essence of jellyfish’s allure, I plan to incorporate sparkles and an array of threads, wire lace, and wire to introduce delicate tentacles.
The final dimensions of Jarvis will be a mesmerizing 10”x5.
