2 Day Class – March 9-10, Saturday and Sunday

On a recent trip to St. Kitts I went scuba diving and saw a yellow seahorse. I thought- I can design this and Sullivan will be his name- no idea why! Upon returning home I looked at my overdyed silks and Waterlilies Rapunzel caught my eye. So now we have Sullivan the golden seahorse who is composed of a myriad of stitches including Jessicas, Crescents, Rhodes and Overlapping Sprats Heads. Threads used will encompass a wide variety of textures and finishes to add depth and dimension to this distinctive piece. Wire lace fins and sea grass will also be added for additional visual interest. Such a stunning seahorse will need a variety of crystals and beads to assure that your finished piece will shimmer with life. Finished size 11”x 7”.
